I worked with Docks Seafood Market and Restaurant to redesign their menu and update their branding. I took their massive and expansive menu and organized it onto three pages in sections that are more easily digestible. We also created some amazing new products and merchandise to help drive sales in their market.

NEW PRODUCT DESIGN

With both a commercial kitchen and marketplace, Docks Seafood had a unique ability to produce and sell its own products. Working with the kitchen, I developed four spice blends that compliment the new menu.

Products to follow include house made sauces and a recipe book that utilizes the new seasoning and sauce selections.

As a practice in branding and messaging, I helped create a brand, target market, and campaign for a startup manufacturing synthetic spider silk neckties. Naming the company Orb - the term used to describe a type of spider web - we created a brand that could expand into other synthetic material designs.

I've worked in film and video production for over a decade, mostly in post production. This is a collection of some of my work as a video editor, cinematographer, and motion designer.

MY STORY

Born and raised in Maine, I grew up loving the outdoors. I got my first taste of city life when I moved to Boston to attend the New England Institute of Art for a degree in Television Broadcasting. I worked as a post production artist and production assistant in film and TV for several years afterwards, which led to my inevitable move to Los Angeles. During that time, I also worked for Apple as a trainer and technician. My time at Apple instilled the importance of vision and values in a brand. I believe the ability to visually communicate these values is the essence of great design.

After a few years in Los Angeles, I moved back home to Maine where I went on to work as a marketing coordinator for a small business as well as a writer and photographer for Eater.com. In my marketing role, I created a rebranding campaign across 4 locations and over 50 vehicles along with a new print ad campaign.  This role  ignited a passion for creativity and design that I just needed to explore further.

I went on to study Advertising at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, earning a Bachelors of Communication while working as a junior designer and art director at Deepend - a digital design agency. I recently moved back to Maine and work in design and advertising as well as design for my eCommerce brand -
Good Evening Moonshine. As a wanderer at heart, I enjoy traveling - often without any plans. Which may help explain my self-portrait in the backgound, inspired by Caspar David Friedrich's classic romantic oil painting Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog.

This project takes over a dozen iconic pieces of art and reimagines them with characters from one of the most significant examplars of pop culture in our time: Star Wars. With artists ranging from Da Vinci to Basquiat, these designs aim to capture the true essence of pop art.
